Give up don’t try to understand everything.

Let go, sometimes don’t insist on understanding everything.

The Bhagavad Gita doesn’t say “don’t understand”—it says don’t get caught up in trying to understand everything. There is a deep philosophy behind this.

limited intelligence vs infinite truth

The Gita believes that human intelligence is limited, while Brahman (the ultimate truth) is infinite.
Shri Krishna says to Arjun:

“गुह्याद् गुह्यतरं ज्ञानं मया तेऽहम् इदं वचः।” (Gita 18.64)

Meaning – This knowledge is extremely esoteric, which can be known only through experience and faith, not through logic.

Meaning: Every mystery of life can be known not by mind alone, but by experience, devotion and action.

“Acceptance” and “surrender” instead of understanding.

Krishna tells Arjun –

“सर्वधर्मान् परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।” (Gita 18.66)

— Leave all religions (i.e. mental arguments) and come to me.

This is the spirit of surrender—that is, when the intellect is limited, have faith in God or truth.

This is not blind faith, but trust based on deep understanding.

The Message of Karma Yoga

The Gita’s central teaching is—

“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।” (Gita 2.47)

Krishna says that your authority is over your actions, not complete understanding or control of the outcome.

You cannot understand everything and why you will receive what result—but keep doing your work, selflessly.

Garlic is packed with numerous health benefits due to its high content of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Here are some of the key benefits of eating garlic:

Boosts Immune System: Garlic has antimicrobial and antiviral properties that help enhance the immune system, making it more effective at fighting off infections.

Reduces Blood Pressure: Studies have shown that garlic can help lower high blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health. It contains allicin, a compound known to relax blood vessels and improve circulation.

Improves Cholesterol Levels:  Garlic may help reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and raise good cholesterol (HDL), which can lower the risk of heart disease.

Supports Heart Health:  By lowering blood pressure, improving cholesterol levels, and preventing blood clotting, garlic contributes to better heart health and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Summary:

The Gita does not mean “do not acquire knowledge”—

Rather, it says,

“As long as understanding is limited, remain humble.

As long as there is no experience, remain faithful.

And as long as the end is not in sight, keep doing your work.”

“Limited Intelligence”—The Human Condition

According to Geeta, human mind and intellect are influenced by the qualities of nature (Sattva, Raja, Tama).
So our understanding—no matter how great it may seem—is always limited.

Bhagavad Gita 7.13:

त्रिभिर्गुणमयैर्भावैरेभिः सर्वमिदं जगत्।
मोहितं नाभिजानाति मामेभ्यः परमव्ययम्॥

Meaning – This entire world is fascinated by the three Gunas (Sattva, Raja, Tama), hence people are not able to recognize Me (the Supreme Truth).

Here “Nabhijaanati” means – human intelligence cannot understand that infinite existence, because it is bound by the limitations of nature.

Geeta teaches –

Use your intelligence, but do not become egoistic with it.

Take knowledge, but know that it is not possible to know everything.

Act, but leave the mystery of the results to the infinite.

This is the harmony of “limited intellect” and “infinite truth”—

See with discernment, accept with faith, and act selflessly.

How many times have you stood at a crossroads, paralyzed by the pressure to make the “right” choice? How often do we feel that life demands a perfect roadmap that if we don’t figure everything out, we’ll be left behind? The truth is, none of us truly have it figured out. And the Gita, spoken on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, shows us that this isn’t a problem it’s the very nature of life. Krishna didn’t give Arjuna a perfect plan he gave him courage to take the next step.

The Weight of Perfection Is an Illusion

We live in an age where everyone seems to have it figured out social media makes it look like people know exactly who they are, where they’re going, and how to get there. But the Gita reminds us that this illusion of perfection is exactly that an illusion. Krishna tells Arjuna that clarity doesn’t come all at once. Instead, clarity grows as we keep moving. Life isn’t about crafting a flawless plan it’s about showing up with sincerity, even in confusion. The storm of uncertainty isn’t proof of weakness; it’s proof of being alive.

Action Is Greater Than Overthinking

Arjuna froze on the battlefield, overwhelmed by questions: What is right? What if I fail? What if this war destroys everything I love? Don’t we all face moments like this moments when our hearts drown in endless “what ifs”? Krishna’s response was simple yet powerful: Do your duty.

Take one step. Don’t be paralyzed by the weight of results. The Gita emphasizes karma, or action without attachment, as the antidote to fear. Instead of waiting to “figure it all out,” the path unfolds through doing. The fog clears when we walk, not when we wait.

You Don’t Have to Control the Outcome

One of the most liberating teachings of the Gita is: You have a right to your actions, but not to the fruits of your actions. We spend so much energy trying to control every outcome success, recognition, security but these are never fully in our hands. Krishna teaches surrender, not in a passive sense, but in a deeply empowering one. We give our best, and then let go. The rains may come, the storms may rage, but the seed we plant will bloom in its own time. You don’t need to figure out how the universe will respond that’s God’s work.

What not to do when you have acne

When you have acne, it’s important to avoid certain habits that can make your skin worse or interfere with the healing process. Here are key things not to do when you’re dealing with acne:

Don’t Pick or Pop Pimples

Why: Popping pimples can push bacteria deeper into the skin, leading to more inflammation, scarring, and the potential for more breakouts. It can also spread the infection to surrounding areas.
Tip: If you feel tempted, try using a cold compress to soothe the area instead.https://stories1history.blogspot.com/2025/02/what-not-to-do-when-you-have-acne.html

Don’t Over-Wash Your Face

Why: Washing your face too much or with harsh cleansers can strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation. When your skin becomes dry, it may overproduce oil, potentially making acne worse.
Tip: Wash your face twice a day with a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser.

Faith Is the Bridge Across Uncertainty

Life is never certain. Careers change, relationships shift, health fluctuates. Yet, amidst this uncertainty, the Gita invites us to anchor ourselves in faith. Faith doesn’t mean blind belief it means trusting that there’s meaning even when we can’t see it.

Krishna tells Arjuna to trust not in a fixed plan, but in the eternal presence of the Divine. In moments when the path feels foggy, faith is what holds us steady. We don’t need to know all the steps ahead just the next one.

The Journey Matters More Than the Destination

The Gita repeatedly reminds us that liberation, peace, and fulfillment don’t lie in a future destination but in the journey itself. We’re not meant to “solve” life as if it’s a puzzle; we’re meant to live it fully, moment by moment.

When Arjuna realized this, he stood up not because he suddenly knew the future, but because he knew that walking his path sincerely was enough. The Gita’s wisdom is clear: you don’t need to figure it all out to live meaningfully; you only need to live this moment with honesty and devotion.

Bhagavad Gita life lessons

Imagine this: the pressure you’ve been carrying to be perfect, to know all answers, to never make mistakes, melts away. Krishna’s words echo softly: You don’t need to have it all figured out. Life isn’t an exam with perfect answers;

it’s a sacred dance between effort and grace. So, the next time your heart feels heavy with questions, remember: it’s okay not to know. It’s okay to be uncertain. The Gita assures us that clarity is not a requirement for the journey; it is the gift that reveals itself along the journey. And in that realization, life feels lighter, freer, and infinitely more divine.
